We are a recruitment agency dedicated to Ngos and social economy and looking for recruitment project managers for short recruitment assignments. We’re looking for profiles who could work from all over the world, but the next meeting will be in Buenos Aires in May 2025.

Orientation Durable is a recruitment agency dedicated to the social and solidarity economy.

We carry out recruitment assignments for all types of NGOs. We realise 130 to 150 recruitements a year, our most known clients are Amnesty International, Greenpeace, Oxfam or Caritas. To find out more: www.orientationdurable.com

Orientation Durable defend a craft approach to recruitment. Our aim is to find the candidate most likely to thrive in the job and the organisation. This means taking into account not only technical criteria but also those related to the working culture of the future employers.

What mission we propose

You will be required to conduct interviews (based on highly personalised and very precise interview guides), write summaries (again, very clearly defined) of your analyses of these exchanges, and carry out professional reference checks on candidates. You will be monitored and supported by OD Managers and Directors throughout your assignments.

It also means having a strategic role within our organisation and benefiting from a cross-disciplinary vision of the issues in the Social and Solidarity Economy and General Interest sector.

What profil we are looking for :

An important clarification: unlike the recruitment of employees for our clients, we open this list according to current production needs. So please excuse us in advance if we don’t get back to you straight away.

This advert will be of interest to those of your acquaintances who:

  • Solid experience in the social and solidarity economy or general interest sector.
  • An excellent sense of discernment
  • A real ability to argue orally
  • An awareness that the position of candidate is not necessarily pleasant and requires real empathy
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proven experience in project management and an appetite for customer and/or partner relations.
  • Availability to carry out ‘missions’
  • Could speak english or french

The originality of our recruitment approach means that we are not looking for standard profiles and are open to different backgrounds that are not necessarily in human resources.

Our current project managers are from the social and solidarity economy and the general interest sector and have worked in various fields (international solidarity, social and professional integration, training, etc.).

Adherence to practical conditions

This is an important subject, take the time to carefully assess how well it fits in with your situation:

– the availability required per ‘recruitment mission’:

  • Contact made for a mission 2 to 3 weeks before the interviews
  • 8 to 10 interviews to be conducted over 3 to 3½ weeks

This is not a permanent job. Our current CDPs all have a highly developed activity (consulting, coaching, etc.) in parallel with the missions carried out with us. Sometimes at the end of the month, they bill us for 3 days, sometimes 0, sometimes 10.
